This Privacy Policy explains how Tempa ("Tempa", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Tempa mobile application. By using Tempa you agree to this policy. If you have questions, contact us at rezki.pratama7777@gmail.com.

1. Information We Collect

• Account data: your email address and display name.
• Health & fitness profile: age, gender, height, weight, activity level, dietary goals, body measurements, and the workouts you log.
• Content you submit: photos of food and of your body, meal logs, and messages you send to the in-app AI coach.
• Purchase data: your subscription and points purchase status from Google Play. We never receive or store your card details.
• Technical data: device type, app version, log data, and IP address.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide the app's core features — calorie tracking, food recognition, the AI nutrition coach, workouts, and progress tracking.
• To process your photos and messages through our AI provider so we can estimate nutrition and answer your questions.
• To calculate your personalized calorie and macro targets.
• To verify in-app purchases and manage your subscription and points.
• To secure the service and prevent fraud and abuse.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf, and only as needed to run Tempa:

• AI processing provider — receives your photos and text to generate nutrition estimates and coaching responses.
• Google — Sign-In and Google Play Billing.
• Apple — Sign-In (on Apple devices).
• Hosting / infrastructure provider — stores your data securely.
• Legal authorities — where required by law.

4. Data Retention

We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account (see Section 5), we delete the information that identifies you — your name, profile photo, and the health and fitness profile you entered (age, gender, height, weight, activity level, goals, and body measurements).

We retain a minimal record — your email address — after deletion to prevent abuse, such as repeatedly creating and deleting accounts to re-claim one-time sign-up rewards. This limited retention is permitted under applicable law for the purposes of fraud and abuse prevention.

Some records you created (such as meal logs, measurements, and uploaded photos) may be retained for a period in a form that is no longer linked to your account profile, and are cleared from routine backups on our normal backup-rotation cycle. You can ask us to erase these as well at any time (see Section 6).

5. Account Deletion & Your Choices

You can permanently delete your account and associated data at any time:

• In the app: open Account → Delete account and confirm.
• By email: contact rezki.pratama7777@gmail.com and we will process your request.

6. Your Rights Under the GDPR (EEA, UK & Switzerland)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the General Data Protection Regulation gives you rights over your personal data:

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Erasure — delete your account and data ("right to be forgotten").
• Restriction — limit how we process your data.
• Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Objection — object to processing based on our legitimate interests.
• Withdraw consent — where we rely on consent, withdraw it at any time.

Legal bases. We process your data to perform our contract with you (providing the app), on the basis of your consent (for the food and body photos and health data you choose to submit), to meet legal obligations, and for our legitimate interest in operating, securing, and improving Tempa.

International transfers. Your data may be processed on servers outside your country, including outside the EEA. Where this occurs, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Exercising your rights. Contact us at rezki.pratama7777@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

Data controller. Tempa (rezki.pratama7777@gmail.com) is the controller of your personal data.

7. Age Requirement

Tempa is intended for adults aged 18 and over and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, contact rezki.pratama7777@gmail.com and we will delete it.

8. Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your information against unauthorized access.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
